My first talk on Isabel de Clare, the subject of my latest novel, took place on the 13th August as part of the Norman weekend in Fethard on Sea, Wexford. It was a fabulous weekend, including enactments, archery and an art exhibition. I was delighted with the numbers of people who seem to have a real interest in Isabel. Not only was St Mogue's full, but I had the additional pleasure of meeting local historians at a session in Tintern Abbey the following Sunday.
